Swiss MENA Chamber of Commerce Strengthens AI Ties at Machines Can See 2025 in Dubai
9 May, 2025
On 20 November 2024, the Swiss MENA Chamber of Commerce was honored to participate in a high-level roundtable co-organized by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), UNESCO, and the Swiss Embassy in France. Hosted in Paris, the event brought together international experts and policymakers to explore the ethical and security implications of artificial intelligence in global governance.
While the broader theme addressed AI in security contexts, the Swiss MENA Chamber contributed to the dialogue by emphasizing the importance of inclusive policymaking, cross-regional cooperation, and responsible innovation—particularly in the context of emerging markets and the Global South. This participation reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing Swiss and MENA perspectives on technology governance and ethical AI.
